Eligibility
Applicants must submit an application through SOCAN Foundation’s application portal by the deadline. Eligible applications must come from an individual composer and will be considered by a jury of prominent Canadian music creators and industry representatives selected by SOCAN Foundation. This award is self-nominating and eligible composers must apply directly on their own.
What to send
– Candidates must provide a short biography of no more than 250 words and photo that will be used only for publicity purposes of the winner (jury members will not see this);
