Eligibility
To be eligible for funding, an applicant must be: a provincial or territorial government; the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC); a Canadian professional organization; or a registered Canadian non-profit organization. For the 2024-25 to 2027-28 period, funds dedicated to teacher recruitment and retention are integrated into the education agreements with provincial and territorial governments. As a result, there will be no call for proposals for provincial and territorial governments during this period.
