Project Assistance: Literary Arts supports eligible literary arts organizations or collectives to develop, enrich, and promote Canadian literature and writers through publishing, presentation, and dissemination of literary works and the development of new or unique public programming and community engagement initiatives. Eligible projects and expenses New applicants must register and create a profile in the online system by 11:59 p.m.

Applications are submitted through the Grant Management System . New applicants must register and create a profile in the online system by 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 to access grant applications for the Project Assistance: Literary Arts. Once registered in the system, grant applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Once the registration request is submitted, it may take up to four business days to process your request.
