Heidi Jahnke (BFA 2005, NSCAD University; MFA 2011, University of Waterloo) was such a gentle, kind, funny, smart, and talented person who was loved by so many. Her soft voice and infectious laugh made her a joy to be around. Maybe it was that spectacular blonde hair of hers, but Heidi really did seem to emanate light wherever she went. Heidi’s passing has left a gaping hole in our community that is deep and painful, and seems beyond repair. She is missed by so many.
