Eligibility
One or more scholarships are awarded to academically outstanding undergraduate and/or graduate students in the Department of Writing who achieve excellence in writing that demonstrates originality, accessibility, creativity, or impact. Preference will be given to students with involvement in, or who are supportive of any lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, intersex, asexual, queer, or questioning communities. In the case of a graduate award, approval will be made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Department of Writing.
What to send
Application-required scholarships and awards require students to submit either a paper or online application as well as supporting documentation. In order to apply for scholarships offered online, students must complete the in-course scholarship application, available through Online tools. The online application for students currently attending is open February 15 - April 30.
